St. Patrick’s Day 2020 events in Jersey City, NJ

Well, we’ve had New Year’s Day and Valentine’s Day, so naturally next up on the list of holidays is St. Patrick’s Day! This is a day of great revelry and celebration, and oftentimes you can just wander down the street and find a party to join. We have a list of some St. Patrick’s Day 2020 events in Jersey City, NJ that might be of interest. Since March 17th falls on a Tuesday this year, some of these events take place a couple of days beforehand to take advantage of the weekend. Just please make sure to celebrate safely and responsibly if you go out!

JCFD Emerald Society St. Patrick’s Day Party 

All ages are welcome to join the fun put on by the Jersey City Fire Department’s Emerald Society on Sunday, March 15th at White Eagle Hall! Tickets include a buffet, live entertainment, drink specials, children’s entertainment, and more!  

St. Patrick’s Day Parade 

Also on March 15th, line the streets beginning at Lincoln Park and watch the parade as it marches north on Kennedy Blvd. to Journal Square. Celebrate Irish Culture as well as this great city and its citizens! The parade steps off at 12:30 p.m. 

St. Paddy’s Shamrock Kickoff Party 

Get the festivities started a little early on Saturday the 14th with the St. Paddy’s Shamrock Kickoff Party at Grove Square! The fun starts at 11:00 a.m. and continues into the evening. A $10 ticket will get you access to the party, which will feature a DJ spinning some great tunes, and more!
